After Hours at Studio Bell National Music Centre
May 26

Head to Studio Bell on May 26 their 18+ night. Hint: it includes live DJs playing techno, house, and hip hop.

FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival Various Locations
June 1-11

Celebrate Calgary’s comedy scene for 11 days and nights. The full lineup includes over 70 comedians of varying styles.

Calgary Humane Society’s Dog Jog South Glenmore Park
June 3

Jog for a Cause (With Your Dog) on June 3. Help raise money for the Calgary Humane Society at the 2017 Dog Jog so they can keep caring for our furry friends. Afterwards, expect food trucks, Village Brewery beer garden, and a Paw Spa for your pooch.

Lilac Festival 4th Street SW
June 4

Sunday Funday is a lot more fun at Calgary’s annual Lilac Festival. Between Elbow Drive and 13th Ave, 4th Street Southwest is made pedestrian-friendly. Explore over 500 artisanal vendors, entertainment, music on six stages, and a beer garden.

Sled Island Music & Arts Festival Various Locations
June 21-25

Sled Island combines all art forms for a five-day must-attend event each year. Comedy, film, visual art, and music come together in an art lover’s oasis.

Calgary is celebrating Canada’s 150th at locations throughout the city. Heritage Park, Downtown, and East Village, are a few spots to check out.

Inglewood Sunfest Inglewood
July 29

Your standard Sunfest: Inglewood Edition. Street performers, vendors, and lots of food in one of Calgary’s historic communities.

August 4-12

Experience uncensored theatre in our hometown. Choose from over 160 performances.

Chasing Summer Music Festival Max Bell Centre
August 5-6

Calgary’s own electronic experience with three outdoor stages. This year’s lineup includes Tiesto, Zedd, Whats So Not, and Infected Mushroom among others.

Marda Gras Street Festival Marda Loop
August 13

Marda Loop transforms into New Orleans for one day each august. Performers, as well as jazz and R&B musicians fill the streets.

August 17-19

Everything reggae in one place: arts and crafts, food, Canadian and International performers. And our favourite place to hang out in the summer—a beer garden.

Calgary Pride Festival Various Locations
August 25-September 4

Concerts, theatre, parties, presentations and discussions, and the parade—of course. After the parade on September 3, head to Pride in the Park (Shaw Millennium Park) for music, a market, food trucks, and a beer garden.
